Masa Journal is a fully Open Access journal. All articles published are immediately freely available to read, download, and share worldwide. To cover the costs of publishing, including rigorous peer-review administration, editorial oversight, professional typesetting, and online hosting, we charge an Article Processing Charge (APC).
Standard APC Rate
Payable only after the manuscript has been peer-reviewed and officially accepted for publication. There are no submission fees.
What does the APC cover?
- Editorial Work: Robust peer review process management and editorial assistance.
- Technical Infrastructure: Development, maintenance, and operation of online journal systems.
- Production: Professional formatting and typesetting in HTML, PDF, and XML formats.
- Indexing & Archiving: Ensuring visibility in major academic databases and long-term preservation.
Discounts and Waivers
We believe that financial barriers should not prevent the publication of excellent research. Masa Journal offers APC waivers and discounts to authors based in low- and middle-income countries, as classified by the World Bank.
Low-Income Countries: 100% Waiver
Lower-Middle-Income Countries: 50% Discount
